This company has been in business for 150 years and it the only remaining traditional pottery that is still making crocks from Alabama clay. There is some chipping on the bottom edge. I photoed the worse of it.

In my opinion it is not very noticeable when displayed. The top lip has no cracks or chips. The glaze is strong and the crock shines. Makers mark is clearly stamped displaying a four leaf clover with the gallon size in the middle.
