Up for consideration is this antique 2 gallon stoneware preserves jar featuring a cobalt bird. The numeral 2 is also brushed in cobalt. It stands 12 inches tall, about 9 inches across at the widest part. The left side handle does have some damage as seen in the photos. There is a small area of stain on the front at the base, and some minor flakes around the inside rim. Aside from the mentioned, there are no cracks or repairs to this piece.
