ANTIQUE HALF GALLON COBALT SLIP DECORATED SALT GLAZED STONEWARE CROCK. It measures 8-1/2" tall with a diameter of 5-1/8" at the top and bottom. A nice variable color gray/brown salt glaze on the exterior. A 3/4'' slightly flared rim. Incised decoration just below the top rim.

Cobalt slip decoration on two sides. Potter's finger grooves visible inside. The crock is in good structural condition showing spider lines on the bottom and old rim repairs. A nice piece of late 19th century decorated salt glazed pottery!
