Offering a beautiful 19th century blue decorated 3 gallon salt glaze stoneware crock / jar with the impressed mark. E NORTON & CO BENNINGTON VT'... This mark was used from 1881 - 1885. The crock has a vibrant blue slip decorated floral design and also has an impressed'3' which represents the gallon capacity. DIMENSIONS - 12 1/2" high, 7 1/4" diameter top, 9 1/4 diameter base. CONDITION - EXCELLENT CONDITION - NO CRACKS, NO HAIRLINES AND NO REPAIRS - JUST ONE CHIP TO THE BOTTOM...
