Antique Green Salt Glazed Stoneware Birdhouse. Rare and unusual, this is an original, antique, green glazed stoneware bird house in the form of a jug. Likely made in the 1800s. About 9 high by 7 across. Light crazing on piece, commensurate with age. Still has original wire and nesting material inside. No chips or cracks, just a firing flaw on the top rim. NOTE: THE VARIATIONS IN THE GLAZE COLOR ON THE BACK OF THIS PIECE OCCURRED DURING FIRING.
