Probably William Roberts who worked at Binghamton NY from 1850. Given the ovoid shape I'd say the earliest part of his tenure. Interesting stylized bird reminiscent of early scraffito type pieces. Acquired from a New York Estate. Please check other listing for more from this fine collection.
