Antique Stoneware SPONGEWARE Butter Crock with LID Rainbow Sponge ware. This is a guaranteed OLD butter crock, with a multi color spongeware pattern. The lid is a darker blue than the crock, but it IS the original lid. This came out of an old local estate, where things were untouched for a long time. The crock is 4 3/8" tall, counting the knob on the handle, and the crock is 5 3/8" across.

It is in super nice condition, no cracks, chips, etc. You don't come across these very often, it is a hard one to part with.
