Antique Vintage 5 Gallon Red Wing Union Stoneware Crock with Bail Handles

  

This is an original vintage 5 gallon Red Wing Union stoneware crock with bail handles on both sides and fancy script "5", four inch wing, and oval markings on the front. Condition is very good; the crock has absolutely no cracks, but there are a few small chips along the bottom and top edges, and one larger chip on the edge of one handle.

Both handles are still securely attached but both are rusty and one is missing the wooden piece. Near the bottom edge on the inside of the crock is a line of yellow residue from use.

The crock is smooth and shiny and still displays beautifully! It measures about 13" in diameter and about 13" H.
