Antique Vintage Western Stoneware 10 Gallon Crock

  

This is an original antique 10 gallon Western Stoneware crock with maple leaf and other markings in black on the front. Condition is very good; there are absolutely no cracks anywhere but there are a few flea bites around the sides (they look like they might be bubbles that burst in the kiln) and one chip on the inside of the top edge. There is a flaw on the bottom edge that looks like a chip but is filled with glaze and happened during manufacture.

The glaze is smooth, shiny, and even and the crock displays beautifully and is water tight. It measures 17" H x 15 1/2" in diameter.
