Boyers And Harden Palatine Wv Cobalt Decorated Stoneware Crock
Here is a nice piece of Palatine, West Virginia stoneware. The crock is cobalt decorated on the front with Boyers & Harden Palatine W. The script is surrounded by a decorative wreath.
It has a thick solid rim, and displays very well. There is some cobalt loss, more to Harden than anything else. There is a small 1" superficial crack that is only on the outside of the piece, in addition to 2 tiny flakes inside the rim, less than 1/8". The crock is 8 1/2" tall, and it is 7 1/2 " across the top. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
