C 1890 Whites Utica 4 qt butter crock

  
Circa 1890 Whites Utica butter crock. Shows two hunters with an elk or deer and and two more elk or deer on the opposite side. Lid has 4 elk or deer on it. Marked with a 4 for 4 quart I assume. 8.5" tall not counting lid and 5.25" across the top. Has one shallow small flake off the side of the lip, 3 shallow flakes off the underside of the lid, one short hairline at the top edge. Has lots of crazing on the inside. One in making line near the lip flake that does not go thru to the inside and is glazed over. Has one other short hairline on the underside of the lid.
