Cobalt -Decorated STONEWARE INKWELL , New York State origin, Early 19th Century. Cylindrical form with raised opening and two pierced quill holes. Condition: the entire top surface and shoulder covered in cobalt slip. There is a 1 " hairline down side of inkwell, extending across underside and 1" up opposite side. Additional, shorter lines to side and/ or underside. A few small, shallow chips to shoulder.
