GREAT ANTIQUE NEW YORK STONEWARE FORT EDWARD CROCK 2 GALLON with BLUE FLOWER

  

The crock measures approximately 11 ½ inches tall by 9 inches in diameter across the base by 6 ½ inches in diameter across the top. The crock has a very attractive cobalt blue flower design on the front just below the stamped embossing. Overall the crock is in great condition. The exterior shows general light to moderate surface scratching, scuffing and wear throughout. There is a 5 inch long by 4 inch tall section of discoloration on the front right side.

The base also shows some areas of surface discoloration throughout. I inspected the crock very closely and I dont see any cracks or chips in the exterior body. There are a few very minor flakes on the interior edge of the upper lip, the largest of which is approximately the size of a pencil eraser. The interior is glazed and is in great condition. The interior is lightly dirty and dusty throughout and could use a good cleaning. See pictures for a better idea of condition.
