James Benjamin, Stoneware Depot, Cincinnati, Ohio 2 Gallon Stoneware Jar
For your consideration is an antique stoneware jar or crock. It is made by James Benjamin of Cincinnati, Ohio. It is 2 gallons in size. It is 12 inches tall and 8 1/4 inches across the bottom.
There are two cracks that start at top rim. The one to the right of the decoration is 3 inches long and the one to the left of the decoration is 6 inches long. There is a glaze flake only on inside rim as shown. A few surface scuffs as shown.
