Ohio Stoneware Co. Akron OH Stoneware Catalog circa1910 Crocks Jugs Original
The Ohio Stoneware Company, Akron OH, Standard Akron Stoneware & Specialties Catalog circa 1910. The date is just a guesstimate. In 1890 the factory located on Fountain Ave.
Was leveled by a tornado. This measures 3" x 6", 22 pages, well illustrated. The cover is medium gray stock with green overprinting. This has info & images on the bristol glazed stoneware & stoneware specialties produced including butter jars, meat tubs, black/white glazed pans/french pots, dutch pots, churns, various other jars, handled & bailed jugs, mixing bowls, growlers/pitchers, steins, slop jars, spittoons, chick waterers, batter pails, pie plates, flower pots, water kegs & jars, etc. Pages 19-22 are blank as issued.
This has some light wear to edges, rear cover has soiling along right edge, staples are rusting, binding is tight, few light smudges/spots inside. Otherwise clean & intact, very good condition. If any images have two small circular shadow type spots, they are from dust on the lens.
They are not on the item. Note: I haven't been able to get the colors right with this camera, lighting & editing software, so the colors shown will vary slightly from the actual item. If this difference is much I will make specific note of it.
