This is the third and largest of three matching crocks. Each of the crocks and lids are decorated with 4 mocha and white bands. This crock measures 7 wide by 5 to the rim. The lid has a recessed button knob and measures 7 1/8 in diameter.

The knob is shallow and is more decorative than functional. The crock and lid are both in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, stains or repairs. You can see where the potter picked up the butter crock and left an impression of his fingers on the inside of the rim. Rarely do a matched set of these crocks come on the market.
