Of Proctor, Wetzel County, West Virginia. Typically merchant jars were to advertise general merchandise stores, but this particular jar was to advertise for a flour mill in Proctor. There is a chip in the lip of the jar smaller than a dime. Other than that it is in perfect condition, save for a few standard dings around the inside of the lip from use.
