RARE Crude Antique Stoneware Crock S. Blair Cortland NY Ovoid Cobalt Blue Decorated c1840's. A very rare early crock.

2 gallon ovoid with high elephant ear handles and a tinge of blue throughout the salt glaze. Decorated with 3 carrots and a flower as well as a freehand number 2. This crock has a stone ping, grease staining and a few small old chips, (one on the handle but mainly around the inside rim). In good solid condition otherwise with only a short old harline about an inch long on the lip (pictured). Please view all pictures provided closely.
