Here is a rare H Oppenheimer scratch jug. I believe this is a rare variation of the H Oppenheimer Austin Texas jug, it does not have Austin Texas and the name is missing one p. Jug is made in the same manner as others I have seen and I believe a local firm there in Austin made them. Top edge has some old dings that are dark, bottom has an old chip but not noticeable because its on the bottom. Rare old jug, fresh out of a good old central Illinois estate.
