Here we have a beautiful early Nelson McCoy butter crock. The colors on this butter crock are the best Ive ever seen and are absolutely stunning! This outstanding piece features 4 daisies on a waffle background with dark green glaze highlights.

This is a crisply molded butter crock with the green over glaze highlighting every detail. The pattern is raised, giving the flowers a three dimensional appearance. There are a couple ridges in the clay that may look like cracks in the photos, they arent. On the lid, the button knob has a molding flaw. Measuring 7 ½ in diameter by 5 ¾ high to the top of the lid the crock is in near mint condition with no significant damage or repairs.
