Stoneware Decorated Strasburg Va Antique Crock Unstamped 1 Gallon Size

  

It is of Strasburg Virginia origin. This is a one gallon size crock.

It has the typical blue cobalt decoration style that was popular with potters in Strasburg. This crock is in very good condition. There are NO cracks in this piece and it rings true like a bell when you plunk on it with your knuckle. There is only two contact places where clay was pulled off of this crock due to touching another crock in the firing process.
