I have been collecting fine crocks for the last 30 years. If you are interested in any of these crocks please make a reasonable offer and I will consider it. This is a Excellent Newark New Jersey Cobalt Blue Decorated 2 Gallon Crock which is also signed Union Pottery Jacob Zipfs Newark, N.

Beautiful deep cobalt blue against a medium brown in color. This crock has one of the sharpest contrast in vibrant color that I have seen. Unlike many crocks that the cobalt blue is either week or blends into the jar, this one really catches your attention! The crock has no cracks, Hairlines or flaws that i can see.

The only thing I noticed were a couple of small flea bites on the inside rim which cant been seen unless you look down into the crock and a mark at the end of the cobalt decoration which looks like part of the decoration. Most of the time these colbalt blue decorated crocks have distinct cracks or hairlines....
