Vintage Stoneware Crock Jar & Lid With Tap Water, Beverage Cooler 4 Gallon

  

This beautiful 4 gallon vintage stoneware water/beverage cooler jug crock is in excellent condition with out any chips, cracks or scratches it does have 2 quarter size areas on the back that were done when it was manufactured and are under the glaze. This Crock was handcrafted and hand painted. The base color is a very light tan highlighted with blue and dark tan. There is a primitive bluebird painted perched on a dark tan branch on the front of the crock that is approximately 4 1/2 inches long.

The tap is wood and is functional. The lid has a solid brass bird perched on the vent hole in the center of the lid.

The large pewter bowl in the picture is not included. The overall height of the crock with the lid is 19 inches tall and the diameter at midpoint is 12 inches the lid measures 6 1/2 inches in diameter. The over all weight is approximately 20 pounds. The large pewter bowl is not included.
