I have up for sale a very nice advertising butter jar that I believe was made by Western Stoneware Co. It has Chicago Advertising - PROPERTY OF M.

WEINGER 1246 South Kedzie Ave Chicago Rockwell 0076. The crock stands approx 6-1/4" tall by approx 9-1/4" in diameter , weighs roughly 6 lbs 12 ounces.

The 2 gallon Western Crock is not part of the sale but is shown in pic #7 to compare in size. The butter crock is slightly smaller in diameter but not by much. I can not confirm nor deny that it was made by Western but its the most likely maker. There are a couple of very minor imperfections as noted in the condition report and shown in the pics.

ONLY THROW OUT THE BOXES AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM OR ITEMS AND FIND NO DAMAGE other than what may be noted in the condition report or shown in the pics. SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING , PICS OF THE OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX , AND OF THE DAMAGED ITEM WOULD BE REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE. I PACKAGE TO THE VERY BEST OF MY ABILITIES BUT SOMETIMES THINGS HAPPEN THAT ARE OUT OF OUR CONTROL.
