Here's a beautiful cobalt floral decorated ovoid stoneware crock jar from the mid 1800s.... Thick heavy hand thrown stoneware with salt glaze finish... Dark brown Albany slip interior with finger grooves from when it was made..... A pair of applied ear handles....

Round ovoid shape (smaller at base)..... A lighter streak on one side where it appears to have had paint at one time. THIS IS A FIXED PRICE ITEM FOR SALE IN MY STORE.
