I bought this from a local estate sale. The owner a 75 yer only man said this item has been in the family for generations his guess was that it is from the turn of the century there is no marking on it to tell its age but from the glaze and stone you know it is very old. It is a 6 gallon butter churn with lid only nothing else come with the sale all has been shown in the picture.

From the picture you can see that here is chip on the top lid. The crack does not go through the bottom of the lid so the lids still covers well.
