As such, I do believe this Jug to be Rather Rare and Highly Collectible. The now deceased Owner from the Estate this comes from had identified the bottom of the jug with a piece of tape indicating she acquired it while living in New Hampshire.
That fact, added to the identical jug I found in research to this one , leads me to conclude it was also Made by the Taft Company in New Hampshire. EXCELLENT ANTIQUE CONDITION : As is Typical with many of these 140+ Year Old Salt Glazed Crockery Jugs, there is One Slight Hairline Crack near the Top of the Handle. Additionally, there is One Chip measuring 1/2" x 1/2" on the Outside Top Rim. Some Typical Stains on the Bottom. (See Listing Photos) The Remainder of the Jug is in Amazing Near Mint Condition with No Other Chips, No Other Cracks.
No Scratches, No Other Stains and No Repairs. See All LISTING PHOTOS and JUDGE CONDITION for YOURSELF.
