Antique circa 1867-77 cobalt decorated salt glazed stoneware crock with Albany slip interior. Impressed'Whites Utica / 4' mark. Neurotic fantail bird looking over it's shoulder on stylized branch' decoration across lower front. Excellent'As Found / As Pictured' antique condition. Glaze, surface & firing imperfections inherent to production. Approximately 11 1/4" x 13" (to handles) x 11 3/4 (base); 13 lbs.
