Antique 5 Gallon Red Wing Union Minnesota Stoneware Signed Elephant Ear Crock

  
This is an original antique 5 gallon Red Wing Union Stoneware crock with large black elephant ear and Union markings on the front, Minnesota Stoneware Co. Stamp on the bottom, Albany slip glaze on the inside, and zinc glaze on the outside. The crock is clean and shiny, the markings are bold, and it displays beautifully. The only damage visible from the front are a couple tiny flakes on the bottom edge, but there is more damage on the back including a large chips near the rim on top, a crow's foot hairline on the bottom edge, and a few smaller chips on the bottom edge, all visible in the photos.
