ANTIQUE BLUE DECORATED STONEWARE STRIPER CROCK / WAX SEALER Western Pa

  
This is from the Western Pa. It has 4 stripes and a spot at the bottom where the potters hand or thumb swiped the jar while applying the cobalt blue. This is in real nice condition. I can find no cracks or hairlines. There is a little nick on the inside rim of the wax sealer.

These early fruit jars were sealed with was after laying a string inside the inner rim. To break the was you simply had to pull on the string. It measures 10 3/4" Tall and has a 4 3/4" Diameter at the rim and a 6 1/2 Diameter at the base. Please check all the pictures. I try to get every angle and side.
