This nice crock came from a fine Vermont estate. This crock is marked as follows: GARDINER STONE WARE MANUFACTORY. Gardiner operated from 1876 to c.

Excluding the lid: 11-1/2" high x 8-3/8" diameter. The lid adds about 1 inch of height. The lid doesn't fit the crock perfectly, but works cosmetically. The crock is in good condition overall, with one chip to a handle. No other chips or cracks were found, and there are only normal signs of age and previous use.
