Antique John Burger Rochester Preserve Jar. Beautiful antique John Burger Rochester preserve jar. The design on the jar features a pottery stamp with cobalt blue wash over it, freehand blue number "2" and a simple blue leaf design. The jar has applied handles and dark brown glaze inside. This is in wonderful condition. There are a few small chips on the glaze inside. There are 2 small chips in the glaze on the outside.

One of then is just below the leaf. There is one imperfection on the bottom edge which looks like a chip but has glaze over it. There is a small rough spot on the bottom edge of the right handle.

No cracks and no repairs. This is a lovely 2 Gallon jar with a beautiful design. Please check out pictures and let me know if you have any questions. I will be happy to take additional pictures if needed. Condition: Very Good vintage condition.
