A very early Salt Glazed Stoneware Jar with blue decoration and an original matching lid. The bottom is uneven and the jar sags to the front.

The jar measures 11" tall and 8" wide. The jar has some loss to the rim and scrapes and pitting due to age and firing.

The Jar was found at the bottom of a hay stack in an old barn in ohio. The dirt is still inside and I just wiped off the outside with water. I believe this is a 1830's piece.
