Antique Parkersburg West Virginia Liquor Jug Crock Stoneware Primitive Whiskey

  

This antique whiskey liquor jug pottery crock is a stoneware piece that embodies the charm of country primitive décor. The blue stamping add a pop of color to this handmade pottery, which is perfect for displaying on a shelf or using as a vase or add to crock collection. Wonderful color of gray and reddish clay, always wonderful from original regions when stamped with location.

Its rustic style and unique character make it a great addition to any antique or primitive collection. Crock is about 11" tall & 7-1/2" wide. It has a base diameter of 6-1/2. I see no damage around the rim opening or base.

Several small chips or imperfections around body, one bigger cluster (see pics). Obviously the handle has broken off but I see no other major damage or cracks - good condition for age and very stable.
