This is an original antique 19th century stoneware crock with salt glaze and bold cobalt blue bee sting on the front that I believe is an early Red Wing marking. The crock looks gorgeous from the front but has a crack down one side, shown in the photos. There are also a few tiny chips on the inside edge of the rim but it is otherwise free of damage. The glaze is smooth, shiny, and even, and the crock still displays beautifully.
