Antique Red Wing 5 Gallon Salt Glaze Bee Sting Stoneware Churn

  

This is an early 5 gallon Red Wing churn from the 1880's. It has a beautiful 5 bee sting, cobalt blue marking.

It is in good, but not perfect condition. It has 3 small chips at the top rim, one 6" very thin hairline on the back, and a 1" tiny hairline on the bottom front. No hairlines go through to the inside and the churn is totally stable. It also has some very neat "turkey droppings" on the back and base.
