Antique Red Wing Stoneware 5 Gallon Salt Glaze Crock Cobalt Decorated Flower

  

Presented for your consideration, this antique five gallon salt glazed stoneware crock. It features the large number 5 and a unusual flower decoration in cobalt blue. It has hand applied handles. No manufactures markings that I can find. Measures 13" tall to the top rim, 12" in diameter, not including the handles.

Very very well cared for. Do expect crazing, glaze pops and anomalies. All normal for it's age and this type of pottery. Please note if you are purchasing this piece in the cold winter months: Antique pottery and glass is susceptible to damage due to extreme temperature changes.

Bring it indoors but wait a few hours for the package to slowly return to room temperature before opening, to prevent any temperature damage. They are described to the best of our knowledge.
