For sale is an ANTIQUE COBALT blue FLORAL DECORATED salt glazed STONEWARE ovoid form jug. It has a unique and vividly drawn free hand cobalt Blue tulip decoration which also seems to resemble number 2. It has an applied handle. It Stands 15 tall and 11 in diameter at the widest point. It has one tight hairline around the shoulder.

It does not touch the lip or the handle. Just start in the middle of the shoulder snd ends on the other shoulder. See the last two photos for details. There are also a few small non spreading chips at the bottom half of the jug. Other than the above issue, there is no other chips or cracks elsewhere.

Overall, it has a great front face, beautiful ovoid form which is older than others. Age related wear and manufactured color imperfection is to be expected with these antique stoneware.
