Antique Stoneware Chicken Waterer Feeder Poultry Fountain Crock Large BEAUTIFUL

  
Rare, beautiful, antique stoneware chicken waterer/ feeder or fountain crock is from a Northern Maine estate & is. Sweet design, lovely patina and with a knob handle. Large, heavy crock measures 12.5" tall and 9" at the widest part (including the drinking cup). Glazed surface is smooth and clean. PLEASE enlarge photos to see true condition. There is an old chip on the top-possibly before it was fired. It's hard to tell because it is old and the patina looks the same. The bottom of the drinking cup, looking at it from the front- on the left side edge has a place where the surface glaze is worn and there looks to be surface cracking or crazing- They don't look or feel to be deep cracks. The stoneware is solid and in tact.

Inside the drinking cup there are lines in both corners, but they also don't feel like cracks-i cannot stick my fingernail into them and they don't go through the stoneware.
