Antique Stoneware Pottery 7.5 Crock with Lid & Wood Bail Handle

  
An early, glazed stoneware crock with lid from the late 19. It's a hefty crock weighing 5 pounds. Standing 7.5 inches tall with 7 inch diameter across the bottom, it still retains its original wire bail handle and black wooden grip. It does show its age but is in remarkably good condition. A very nice piece of early pottery which has a simple, country primitive appearance.
