Antique Stoneware Red Wing Pottery Bee Sting 4 Gallon Crock Minnesota

  

Up for your consideration is an antique stoneware crock with a beautiful bee sting marking. This crock was probably made in the 1800s. I really have very limited knowledge of stoneware. It does have a beautiful bee sting marking in a still vibrant cobalt blue. There are great colors and markings on this crock.

There are signs that it was well used. There are a couple small flat chips on the rim as shown. There is a tight crack at the bottom edge. Both of these flaws are pictured.

This is a 4 gallon crock. A great piece with fabulous colors. I have more pictures upon request.

Size 12.25"L x 11.5"Diameter x 11.5H. If you pick Smart Post and Priority is cheaper I go with Priority. The majority of the items I sell are estate finds. As a result, I describe my items to the best of my ability.
