German Made Westerwald 7 Liter Stoneware Crock. This beautiful piece of stoneware pottery came hand carried from Germany. This has been in my family since the 1800's. It started with my mothers great, great Aunt and has been passed down through the years! My mom just found the wooden half circle that came with the crock to make sauerkraut. It was for pushing down the cabbage into the crock. Apparently it had 2 halves, but she has only found the one at this time. It is in incredible condition for it's age as there is no discoloration, one small hairline crack and one small chip at the bottom. The gray and cobalt blue colors are still bright and have very little wear. The hairline crack does not go all the way through on the inside. My mother used it for indoor plants as it was a perfect addition to the house! Please refer to pictures as they are part of my description. Please contact me with any problems or complaints first!
