Pictured is a seldom seen blue & white stenciled Nautilus salt container available for sale. The salt is decorated with an elaborate scroll design noting "Salt". Both sides are stenciled with the familiar Nautilus design. The stenciling is sharp & crisp. The salt measures 6 1/8" in height, 5 3/4" in diameter, & dates from 1905 - 1925. It was produced by the A.

Hull Pottery Company in southeastern Ohio. As seen, the salt has a minor 1/4 sliver on the interior rim. There is a 2 1/2 hairline that runs from the rim that is barely visible on the inside, see 2nd Pic. This item is in the category "Antiques\Primitives".
