Eagle with Shield Blue & White Butter Crock Stoneware Pottery Salt Glaze

  
This blue and white butter crock is about 4 ¾ inches tall to the top of the lid (not including handle), about 5 ½ inches across the top rim, and about 6 inches across the base. It is made from blue and white stoneware / pottery and has a stippled background, scrolled border, and an eagle with shield and arrows on both sides.

This has a wire and wood bail handle that is old and may or may not be original. The wire handle is a little bent, not quite symmetrical.

There is one crack on the lid rim see last 2 photos of this one spot. There are a few rim fleabites and small rim chips, and normal glaze pops, skips, blobs, black specks, and glaze/surface inconsistencies. The mold of the eagle on one side is crisper than on the other, but both look pretty good. You can see the shield, branch going across the shield, talon, and arrows on both sides. Sometimes Priority can be cheaper than Parcel Select, depending on your zip code and the weight of the package.
