Early Blue & White Stoneware Cows & Fence Butter Crock Salt Glaze

  

Pictured is an early blue & white salt glazed stoneware butter crock offered for sale. The butter is embossed with the "Cows & Fence" design & retains its original cover. It measures 4 1/2" in height, 7 1/8" in base diameter, & dates from 1905 - 1925. It's in excellent condition with a few shallow slivers on the backside inner rim & a very tiny nick on the backside, see Pics.
