Pictured is an early yellow ware butter crock offered for sale. The small one pound butter has two thin.

Tan slip bands separated by two thin white slip bands around the midsection. The butter's coloration is. A deep mustard, pumpkin coloration. It measures 4 1/8" in height, 5 1/8" in diameter, & dates from 1880. It's in excellent condition with no nicks, damage or repairs whatsoever.
