Huntington Brown Brothers Eagle Stoneware New York

  
It has a very nice stenciled eagle and probably dates to around 1876 or so. I don't believe they have ever been accurately dated. The stenciled eagle is carefully applied and crisp looking, which is important.

I have occasionally seen the eagle looking worn or clogged due to many stenciling applications. This is an early stenciling.

The surfaces of the eagle and the rest of the vessel show the correct oxidation for authentic stoneware. I have only seen this eagle on this style vessel.
