Pictured is a large four (4) gallon blue decorated crock offered for sale. The salt glazed crock is freehand. Decorated with an unusual "Fishing Lure" design. It is attributed to having been produced in northeastern.

It measures 11 5/8" in height, 10 3/4" in diameter, & dates from 1860 - 1885. In excellent condition with a thru diagonal hairline seen on the backside. No other damage, nicks or repairs. There is light discoloration on the backside & the crock could need a light cleaning. This item is in the category "Antiques\Primitives".
