Here is a 19th century decorated stoneware storage circa 1860's. Attributed to Leet Hamilton of Greensboro Pa, this freehand two gallon jar is decorated with 3 fushia like flowers along with freehand vining. Beautiful piece that has nice contrast between the light grey glaze and deep cobalt. This jar has two rear tight hairlines and a few Albany slip marks. Also, as you can see in a photo, the jar has an interior drying crack that does not go through the jar.

Really a beautiful early example of w. Piece measures 12" height 8" width.
