Primitive Rare Stoneware Jug Crock With Handle Good Condition

  
This rare stoneware jug crock with handle is a unique addition to any collection. The beige color with two bands of blue stripes adds a touch of Americana to any display. A 4-5hairline crack is present mug jug that I tried to I capture in a photo but it doesn't prevent the function of this piece at all and it still holds liquid and keeps it cold for quite some time. This was found in the actual root cellar adjacent to the original farm home. The jug is made of salt glazed stoneware.

The spout measures at " diameter with the jug at " diameter and the height with the handle is. It is an original piece from the early part of the 1800s. This item is perfect for collectors of antiques and primitives. It is scored on the bottom and has several dots in a unique pattern with what looks to be a C in cursive on the bottom so it is identifiable in some way but I've done much research and can't find anything about this piece. There are replicas made my RRP Co but this is not one of them bc of all the defects made by the potter.
